Mary has always loved wildlife; so that element appears often in her work. Her earliest childhood recollections were of her parents creekside farm in Minnesotta, alive with animals from crawfish to mink. Since moving to the Pacific Northwest three decades ago, that love is stronger than ever. In fact, most of her current paintings include wildlife, atleast in the "shadows"--if you look closely.
